I enjoyed visiting with Mr. Robert Kerr during the Chargers vs. Desoto Central game. I'm incredibly proud of our student-athletes for their fight and determination throughout the season. Our Southaven Chargers finished 3rd in the 7A Region 1 Football Standings with a district record of 3-2. 

12x All-American swimmer and Independent Women’s Voice spokeswomen Riley Gaines and Paula Scanlan visited the Magnolia State with stops in Hinds, Lee, and Desoto County to fight for women's rights. I stand for women's rights and look forward to supporting protections for women all across Mississippi.

I had the honor to attend a Judiciary hearing in the House recently, where we discussed protecting Mississippian's rights. I'm committed to equipping our law enforcement officers to ensure the safety of our communities in Desoto County.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting with Mississippi State University President Mark Keenum while also witnessing the remarkable research efforts at the university. MSU is at the forefront of groundbreaking research leading the way for innovative commercial applications. Through bolstering our partnerships between local communities and our research institutions, we will generate the sustainable economic growth across Mississippi.
